Lumigan Drops need to be applied to the affected eye or eyes, usually once daily, or as prescribed by a physician. Bimatoprost should not be used more than once per day as it might not have the desired effect.
Before using eye drops, wash your hands. Avoid touching the dropper's tip and don't let it come into contact with your eyes or any other surface to prevent contamination of any kind. It's important to take out your contact lenses before applying the eye drop because bimatoprost contains a substance that stains them. After applying the drop, give yourself at least fifteen minutes before replacing your lenses.
