As you prepare for your 14 week ultrasound, here's what you can expect during the appointment:

Positioning: You'll lie on an examination table, and a gel will be applied to your abdomen. A transducer, a device that emits sound waves, will be moved over your belly to capture images.

Visualizing the Baby: The ultrasound technician will focus on capturing clear images of your baby's anatomy, including their head, body, limbs, and organs.

Gender Determination: If you choose to know your baby's gender, this is typically the stage where it can be revealed, although it's not always guaranteed due to the baby's positioning.

Measurement and Assessment: The technician will take measurements of various aspects of your baby's development, such as the length of their limbs and the size of their head, to ensure they are growing appropriately.

After the ultrasound, your healthcare provider from Tummy Vision will review the images and discuss the findings with you. Any concerns or questions you have can be addressed at this time.
