Powder Bowl Ski Wear | Your Must-Have Ski Jacket

Whenever the snow season comes, you can always see friends planning ski trips together and meeting up at the major snow parks. Skiing is a winter sport, but it also makes it better for us to enjoy winter outdoors.
But ski resorts aren't our goal, the mountains are!
Skiing from the mountains, enjoy yourself, leap on the powder snow that no one has ever skied, the wind whistling through the close to the thrill of flying. Not all ski wear is suitable for this, and it is only by dealing with the sudden change of environment, terrain and weather that you can enjoy the original fun of nature.

So what do we look for when it comes to choosing a ski jacket? Let's take a brief analysis of Patagonia's Powder Bowl line of snowwear.
1. 2 layers of 100% recycled polyester Gore-Tex fabric
2. built-in RECCO® reflector
3. Tightening snow skirt and adjustable hood
4. zippers with waterproof coating
5. 6 storage pockets with zippers
  1. 6. weight: 941g

Performance

01: Protection in the mountains
The 2-layer Gore-Tex fabric and durable DWR ripstop coating allow the Powder Bowl jacket to easily withstand high winds and unexpected snowfall in the mountains.
The high collar and adjustable hood fit snugly over the face for maximum head protection; the snow skirt at the hem is also adjustable to keep the core of the body warm while blocking out snow and moisture; and the wrists are certainly not missing, as the Velcro is tightened to fit any ski glove well and protect against the cold air.
In addition, the central main zipper and exposed pocket zippers have a water-repellent coating, making the Powder Bowl jacket a powerful barrier against inclement weather on the mountain.

02:Wearing comfort

The soft, stretchy mesh lining and the soft stitching material at the back neck make it hard to believe this is a hardshell ski jacket.
With the breathable zipper under the armpits open, you won't feel stuffy at all, even while climbing, and the moisture-wicking properties of the mesh lining prevent internal dampness caused by sweat.

03:Reliable Durability

Durability has always been Patagonia's pride and joy, and the Powder Bowl jacket is no exception. 150 denier double-layer Gore-Tex has a sturdy and very reliable construction with excellent tear resistance.
And, even if it wears out or gets damaged, the Born Wear lifetime warranty policy will bring it back to life. Can be built strong, new is better than repaired!

Main features

01: Front and back adjustable hood
Powder Bowl's hood has a drawstring on the back to adjust the front and back position. The front left and right sides of the drawstring can be tightened and adjusted to fit the face, giving protection while maximizing the field of vision.
Wind cap with brim, can block the sun to a certain extent, to prevent snow directly blocking the view. It is worth mentioning that the location of the adjustable drawstring at the brim, so even if the tightening drawstring, the brim will also fit the face, will not crease, to provide maximum protection.
02: Multifunctional storage pocket
As the core alpine product of Patagonia, the Powder Bowl series has excellent storage performance.
Two zippered side pockets (these have drawstrings for hem adjustment); a small zippered pocket on the left forearm for a ski pass; a large zippered chest pocket for a cell phone and, notably, a smaller zippered pocket with an earphone outlet inside this chest pocket; and a large zippered stash pocket inside the garment.

03: Adjustable snow skirt that resists moisture

Unlike a regular punching bag, the Powder Bowl, as a ski jacket, has a snow skirt at the hem for protection against moisture and flying snow. It has adjustable cords in two directions and has a grommet that can be used to attach to Patagonia's ski pants.
If you don't like the snow skirt, or wear the Powder Bowl series in other sports, you can also button the inside of the skirt tightly, which effectively prevents it from piling up or flipping over.

04: Responsible products

Patagonia has made many efforts to reduce the environmental impact of its products and to make them more sustainable, and the same is true for the Powder Bowl line.
The Gore-Tex fabric in this ski jacket is 100% recycled polyester, and all materials are bluesign certified - meaning the chemicals and materials used in the manufacturing process are safe for the environment, workers and consumers.
Also, the Powder Bowl line is fair trade certified, which means Patagonia invests extra money in the production of its products . They go directly to worker health care, child welfare and other community programs.
