Southwest Airlines baggage policy allows two checked bags per passenger, each of which cannot be heavier than 50 pounds or more than 62 inches overall (length + width + height). Any bags that are bigger than these restrictions risk being charged more or not being transported. Moreover, checked luggage will not be accepted for any bags that weigh more than 100 pounds or have overall dimensions greater than 80 inches.
